GRADUATE PROJECT: CRINAN WOOD

For my second graduate project, I created my own site specific brief based on a forest on the west Coast of Scotland, Crinan Wood. Having visited there with my family in 2021, I was inspired by the beauty and wildness of the area and felt it would be the perfect backdrop for a design project.

Focussing on the themes of nature, re-wilding, connection, surrealism.

​

From this project, I made Flora's costume - a strange creature inspired by the wild flowers found in the area, specifically the Foxglove.
